We welcome all of you to our Father Fénelon Catholic school community to the 2019-2020 school year. We take pride on having a vibrant, safe and inclusive school.
We will be asking the children to do five things this year:
1. Work hard as opportunity only comes from hard work;
2. Create a positive school community that begins and ends with respect for each other;
3. Serve Christ by modeling Jesus in our actions and words;
4. Be truthful and kind in our day to day interactions; and
5. Be Servant Leaders in our school and in our community.
Our staff commits to work with home and the Parish to provide a learning environment that is safe and positive, a learning environment that is engaging, and a learning environment that builds Catholic character in your child. We commit to do this every day!
This year at the Durham Catholic School Board we are celebrating the Year of Hope. We will be working with students, staff and parents to bring awareness to the Mission of Christ to serve the poor and vulnerable.
We look forward to a wonderful year of learning, laughter and love.

Our intermediate students also have opportunities to work in collaboration with secondary students on assignments such as media studies or robotics.
